It Snows in my Heart Today

On the 13th of this month, yesterday, my sister's cat, named Snow, died in a car accident. She escaped in the morning, but my sister didn't try to take her back because she was late for work, and Snow was always really smart and always came back by herself. But sadly, in the afternoon, someone sent my sister a message telling her a cat was dead on the street in front of my sister's house. At that very moment my sister entered a shock, because she knew what cat it was. She went there and identified Snow, now dead, still warm to the touch. Needless to say, my sister cried. A lot. I wasn't there at the time it all happened, but she told me. Snow was, by far, my sister's favorite cat. My sister wrote a beautiful homage for her cat on Facebook yesterday, and it brings me to tears even now when I read it. A text full of love, full of caring, so much that you can feel how deeply my sister loved her cat. By a little circumstance, by an accident, her Snow was taken from her. A piece of her heart ripped from her. So I drew this. I felt really compelled to eternalize the love my sister had for her sweet, cute cat. I knew Snow as well. I've always seen her when I visited my sister. And today, with tears in my eyes, I can say: it snows in my heart as well.
